When Life Happens to Your Fitness Routine

Over the last one month life has really happened to my fitness routine.
We’ve been in and out of the pediatrician’s office countless times.
Work did not stop and neither did the other countless demands of my life.
So now my body is really feeling the effects and I cannot wait to get back into my routine.
If you’re struggling to stick to your routine, or even to just start remember:


It’s right here waiting still here, ready when you are. Today I will walk back into my Zumba class like I never left.



Fitness is not a test of your willpower, it’s a tool for wellness. And wellness includes rest, pauses, and regrouping when needed.
Life will always have its ups and downs. Kids get sick, work gets busy, you get tired….. the goal isn’t to fight life, but to move with it.
And to keep moving.
So if life has interrupted your routine, take a deep breath.
And get moving again.
